Methodology

Source: accepted, active vendor quotes on the platform (the price the couple and vendor agreed to) — not draft quotes, not payment instalments.
Minimum sample: a city × category × guest-band cell is published only once it has at least 8 qualifying quotes after outlier removal. Below that, we show nothing rather than guess.
Outlier removal: values outside the interquartile (IQR) fence are dropped before computing the median and 25th/75th percentile band, so a single unusually high or low quote can't skew a cell.
Verified vendors count more heavily in the sample, to weight the index toward verified track record.
